IN CULINA

THE LATIN PROGRAMME X KINGS CROSS BUN PROJECT

In collaboration with the Kings Cross Bun Project, an initiative that brings food and communities together, celebrating the diversity of local baking in King's Cross using sustainably grown heritage flour, The Latin Programme teamed up with Years 3, 4 and 5 at Argyle Primary School, Camden to bake the perfect panis quadratus.

It was a wonderful bringing ancient cookery techniques to the next generation. The bread we made together was just as it would have been thousands of years ago (with the exception of our electric oven!). Lots of our young bakers commented on how much they prefer eating bread they have baked with their own hands to buying supermarket brands!
